This bedroom began as an all-white space with carpeting. The client being a master gardener, green and nature was the obvious design direction. The beautiful cork wallpaper is a stunning backdrop against the heavily textured headboard, and the timeless green Greek key pattern, a symbol of friendship and love, for the custom duvet and shams, was the perfect choice for this gardener’s guest bedroom. The round side table, a cherished piece serves as a nightstand, and a reproduction telephone table flanks the other side. Opposite the bed, the cabinet was built by the client’s father when she was a young girl. The piece was refinished to fit the design. The bolster picks up the slight hues of purple in the cork wallpaper and the client’s artwork, which was framed for the room.
